It was pretty cold so in the morning I grabbed a window seat (and hot chocolate) to draw the contrast of the old church and very glassy modern high rise of the City - and a bit of the wrongly described but popularly known as Brutalist Barbican Flats.
Unusually for London Urban Sketchers we met on a Sunday because the huge conservatory at The Barbican Centre is not open to the public on other days. So it was quite crowded but there was plenty of vantage corners in which to lean and sketch.
